The living quarters of the ground floor were on the east side of the Little Palace, here badly eroded. The Peristyle Hall is an unusual but elegant arrangement of columns around crazy paving. This may have been open to the skies, the columns supporting a roof which covered the gypsum slabs running around the edge of the room; a similar room exists at Festós.
