The palace of Knosós and its surroundings - 3D virtual reality tour

West court

The West Court was a paved, open area which divided the Palace from the Minoan town to the west. The black marks of fire from the final destruction of the Palace can be seen on the white, gypsum façade. The Corridor of the Procession, once decorated with a processional fresco, runs from the southeast corner and would have been the main entrance to the Palace on this side during the New Palace period.
