Each year the BSA holds postgraduate courses across a variety of disciplines aimed at providing key skills in research training to help you meet your postgraduate training requirements. In 2011 a two week residential course will explore the practical side of how to create and evaluate editions of Greek inscriptions, and how to utilize the evidence epigraphy can offer across a wide range of subjects.

In 2010 the Fitch Laboratory of the BSA hosted its first course on an introduction to ceramic petrology and its application: this will be repeated in 2011. Keith Rutter, Emeritus Professor at Edinburgh University, will lead the first Numismatics course at the BSA in 2012, utilizing several numismatic collections around Athens.
