In her second blogpost, Orsolaina Felago (Università degli Studi della Campania) continues to explore the early history of the BSA. Orsolaina completed an Erasmus+ traineeship at the BSA, January–March 2021.
The BSA was saddened to learn of the passing of our former Patron, HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Although the cost of running the BSA has continued to rise year on year, membership and accommodation fees have not been raised since the 2010/11 Academic year.
The British School at Athens was deeply saddened to learn of the unexpected death of Dr Ian Jenkins, Senior Curator at the British Museum, on Saturday 28 November.
