I studied art history and archaeology at SOAS, University of London, focusing on the artistic exchanges between the Middle East and Europe during the Medieval and early Modern periods. My doctoral dissertation analyzed how the evolution of Greek-Orthodox aesthetic during the Ottoman period was reflected on clerical costume and ecclesiastical textiles. As post-doctoral fellow at the British School at Athens I will be working on the revision of my dissertation for publication.
