Public Engagement & Events Officer
As the Public Engagement and Events Officer, I will be responsible for the development of Public Engagement initiatives, both in-person and online, to attract new and diverse audiences. This will include organising an annual cycle of events (lectures, dinners, receptions, museum and gallery tours), acting as the Art and Poetry Liaison and facilitating the communication of BSA activities to the general public.
I am an Events and Community Development practitioner with an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries (King’s College London). I have been living overseas in London and Sydney for the past 20 years where I worked in Event Management and Community Development. My most recent job was managing the programs at an NGO in Sydney with a focus on human rights advocacy and facilitating support and opportunities to marginalized and vulnerable communities.
