Invitation for applications – Trustee Role on BSA Council
Applications are invited from those interested in becoming a member of Council of the British School at Athens to serve for four years from 1 April 2026. The BSA aims to have a diverse Council and is looking for trustees from varied communities with expertise in business/finance, academic partnerships and programmes, outreach, scientific work and major project design/management at any career stage.
Applicants should send to the School Administrator (school.administrator@bsa.ac.uk) a CV and a covering letter explaining how the applicant believes their skills and expertise match the requirements of the role. Applicants should also supply the names, phone number and email address of two referees, who have agreed to provide letters of reference sent directly to the School Administrator by the closing date. Responses will be reviewed by the Search Committee, which may be followed by an informal interview, and a recommendation be made to Council, for formal approval in late September.
The deadline for applications is Monday, 30th June 2025.
