Friends’ Committee Elections 2027
Three members of the BSA Friends’ Committee are due to step down on Wednesday 31 March 2027.
Nominations are accordingly now invited for three vacancies on the BSA Friends’ Committee: all to be elected from the Friends tier of Supporters. If more than three nominations are received, a second stage of the electoral process will take place. Those elected will serve for four years from 1 April 2027. To be eligible for election to the Friends’ Committee candidates must be current members of the Friends tier of Supporters of the BSA. Nominations may be made by Supporters belonging to any tier, and in the event of an election, all tiers are eligible to vote. The current list of BSA Friends who have consented to appear on our website is available to view here. If you are unsure of your Supporter status, please contact us at bsa@thebritishacademy.ac.uk.
